Caribbean Pipefish belong to the Family Syngnathidae. They exhibit a sleek, pipe or snake like body along with a similar dorsal fin of a seahorse. These fishes make excellent tank mates with Seahorses

Caribbean Seahorses acquire its name because of its general look, swimming vertically with a bendt head and tail, giving it the appearance of a horse. The coloration of this species is variable, individuals may be grey, brown, yellow or red.

The Dwarf Seahorse (also known as the Seapony) is usually brown or white in color, though some may be yellow or yellow with black stripes; still others may be white with little black dots.
