Brush Plants grow in sandy shallow water fields throughout the world. They have a long, tubular stalk with a multitude of long, thin leaves growing in a feathered fashion, usually at the tip of the stalk. For the best care, plant them in aquarium substrate in an area that is well illuminated. These plants are well known for helping reduce nitrate and phosphate from the water.
