Food and Diet: In a saltwater aquarium they should be given a balanced diet. Variety is important, feed them foods from a wide range of food groups. Feeding them a single type of food for too long is generally a bad idea. They should be fed frozen foods that have both meat and algae.

The colour patterns around the head may vary in detail from one specimen to another. There is no difference in the juvenile colour form, as in other angelfishes.

Usually peaceful, it is possible to keep compatible pairs in the aquarium. Spawning is possible within the aquarium setting
